GB Ultras Pennine Barrier

Starting in the delightful village of Malham the race heading straight up the steps at Malham cove! That’s where the stunning scenery starts and is an ever present for the whole route. The ground underfoot is technical in places and you have to be mentally dialed in. The course goes around the stunning Yorkshire 3 peaks ! 3 fairly challenging climbs all with their own unique charm. As with all GB Ultra events the support you get is unrivalled. The volunteers are on another levels and genuinely can’t do enough for you! A great race taking in some spectacular sights on the Yorkshire 3 peaks route including malham Cove a place pictured on Harry Potter.
Slightly tricky underfoot in places but this adds to the excitement. Overall it’s 90% on tracks and paths making this an optional first trail ultra marathon. The support and safety crew make the race run with ease and I’ll definitely be doing it again.
