Apex Everest

This had to be one of the best put together events I have taken part in.

The race format is a looped track to the top of helvellyn, until you have reached the elevation of Mount Everest, which is 9 loops within 36 hours.

The marshals were so supportive and tried to help as much as they could when you came into the aid station. They even helped transport camping gear from your car to the campsite (only a 2 minute walk). They honestly couldn’t do enough for you.

The mountain rescue team were out for the full event and made sure you were ok every time you passed them.

Unfortunately this time they had bad weather, but that didn’t stop the event. They had a second route in place to keep the race going.

This race is a 10/10 and I will definitely be doing it again as the community feel to it was outstanding
