The One Hundred® Mons race is the pinnacle of the Endurance Trail World Championship – a 200-mile, 100-mile and 100km odyssey carved through the sacred mountains and Atlantic forests of Nova Trento, Santa Catarina. As the fifth edition of one of Brazil’s most iconic and demanding mountain ultramarathons, Mons has earned its place as a pilgrimage site for the global trail community.
Held on legendary terrain – from the ridgelines above Nova Trento to the summit of Monte Barão – the course blends brutal elevation, technical forest trail, and sweeping views that define South America’s wild heart. Over 1,000 athletes from around the world gather here each year, but only the boldest take on the full 200-mile challenge: the crown jewel of the World Championship Final.
This is not just a race; it is the place where the season reaches its crescendo – where national champions, trail icons, and emerging elites stand shoulder to shoulder and push themselves into the unknown. The journey unfolds through cloud forest, jungle, ancient village routes, and steep mountain corridors, with every aid station a lifeline of light, energy, and humanity.
Here, endurance becomes art, suffering becomes transcendence, and finishing becomes legend.
This is Mons – the beating heart of the One Hundred® Endurance Trail series.
The Grand Final. The global summit of the sport.
