Were there any unexpected challenges, and what did you learn that will help you improve in 2026?<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-120675b elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"120675b\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>2025 was the year we changed the course of our Ultra distance.<\/b><br \/>The new route is slightly shorter, but it fully preserves the Guara DNA: lots of rocks, incredible canyons, and very demanding terrain for the runners.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">The change was well received, and in 2025 we broke our participation record, exceeding 1,400 registered runners.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">On an internal level, however, it was a very difficult year. In August, our main sponsor informed us that they were withdrawing their support. We went through some very tough moments to keep the event alive and finally manage to make it happen.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c363540 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"c363540\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Q3. Can you give us a preview of the main changes or novelties, whether in distances, routes, formats, or runner experience? What goals guide this evolution?\n<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4680117 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4680117\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>The distances will remain the same.<\/b><br \/>Our main challenge for 2026 is to consolidate the new Ultra route and make some adjustments to the cut-off times at specific points.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Our goal is to reach 300 participants in the Ultra distance.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">As a major novelty, we are joining the new <a href=\"https:\/\/unittrail.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><b>UNIT TRAIL circuit<\/b><\/a>. It\u2019s a project that really excites us, as it is designed for amateur runners, supports young athletes, and introduces an innovative team league format that we believe will be very well received by the trail running community.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f12749d elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"f12749d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Q4. What kind of experience \u2014 in terms of terrain, scenery, and atmosphere \u2014 can someone expect if they\u2019ve never run in Guara before?\n<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-b0e258f elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"b0e258f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\"><b>The Sierra de Guara is unlike any other trail destination \u2014 and that\u2019s what makes it special.<\/b><br \/>Its canyons, eroded rock formations, endless stones, abandoned villages, silence, calm, and even prehistoric cave paintings recognized as UNESCO World Heritage sites\u2026<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">It\u2019s a unique and spectacular landscape that leaves a lasting impression, combined with the warmth and kindness of the local people.<\/span><\/p><p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">And if you add to that the local gastronomy, the wines and olive oils of the <b>Somontano Designation of Origin<\/b>, and the village of <b>Alqu\u00e9zar<\/b>, which is the heart of the race \u2014 then you truly have everything.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-de2381e elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"de2381e\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Q5.
