This was my first high altitude trail race. The experience of the Gonggar 100 cross-country race is very special. The scenery and atmosphere of the race was great. Although I didn’t see Gongga Snow Mountain due to the weather, I regret that I won’t come back until next year!
In this competition, the event operators did a very good job in terms of safety. A lot of preparations were made. In outdoor sports, you are the first person responsible for life safety. High-altitude sports are different from those on the plains. You must have awe of nature and life.
Looking forward to next year’s Gonggar 100, I will come again!

A high-altitude glacier ultra beneath Mount Gongga (Minya Konka), traversing the Hailuogou Scenic Area with 100km, 60km, and 40km routes through glacier and alpine terrain above 3,500m.
The FUGA Glacier Extreme Gongga 100 starts and finishes at the Hailuogou Scenic Area, at the foot of Mount Gongga (Minya Konka) — one of the highest peaks in Sichuan. The 100km route climbs over 7,000 meters through glacier and high-altitude alpine terrain, requiring crampons, a climbing helmet, and poles as mandatory gear, while the 60km and 40km routes offer shorter but still demanding introductions to the same glacier landscape.
