Mallorca by UTMB

For the first time of Mallorca ETM since UTMB bought the Mallorca 5000 trail its was an average start.. 3/5 races cancelled because of storm but cancelled a day before start, 7h before start for the 100M.
For the 50k I’ve ran, a start without wave so 1100 people on start, 3km after the start a first 30min traffic jam, then some kilometers after an other 30min waiting trafic. Next we go on 4X4 tracks to the first aid station. Some kilometers after another stop too many people on a 1 single person per person rope downhill and more than an hour to waiting here… Then we came on the more technical part with no track only rocks everywhere.
On the 4th aid station no more food, no more fruits, juste 2 or 3 naaks bar..
Arrival at night with lot of crowd and very good atmosphere at Port de Soller.

Good race with incredible landscape, most technical race I’ve ever seen, but too many people like 2h30 total waiting..
