Just wrapped up the 200-mile at The One Hundred® Mons and wow — what an experience. The race is insanely well organized, with clear course markings, helpful aid stations, and some of the friendliest volunteers you’ll meet.

The scenery is unreal — ridgelines, cloud forests, jungle, old village paths — it’s South America at its wildest. The whole vibe of the race, from start to finish, is incredible. Crossing the finish line was electric — full of energy, celebration, and that amazing sense of accomplishment. Every step felt like part of a real adventure, something completely new and unforgettable.

And the prize money shows how serious they are about this event. Honestly, if you love tough, beautiful, properly run mountain ultras, Mons should be on your list.

A very well organised race, with the experience of 5 editions. A race that allows you to experience all the different natural contexts of the territory of this area of Brazil. You start and arrive in the urban context of the characteristic town of Nova Trento and you run through rural villages, dirt roads, mountain paths and wild jungle. An experience that I recommend to all those who want to dive into a unique adventure of its kind.
The arena with the final party shows that Mons goes beyond the competitive aspect.

Such a great, wild and raw experience at Mons Ultra Trail with this first 200-miler for the OneHundred Grand Final!
The course is quite rolling but still requires a good balance of downhill and uphill legs, interesting for a final to test different athletes’ skills.
Clever (and very light) course marking which did not require full navigation skills but to stay on alert and making the route feel more natural.
Really nice views on waterfalls and jungle mountains from A to Z and a bonus to the race team and volunteers who were all awesome: even without speaking Portuguese we were meant to feel totally welcome! Thank you!!
