Ultra Wales 50 Miles review
Distance : 85 kmDénivelé : 4200 m
Jul 2024, Mental Health Wanderer
The course is a 50 mile trail and mountain race with a 20 hour cut-off and explores the lower reaches of Southern Snowdonia before ascending and taking in the beauty of Cadair Idris and Rhinog Fach. This was a race I've looked forward to all year and it didn't disappoint, with the varying technical terrain and astonishing views this adventure is one I'll remember for a long time to come. Again with the GB ultra events they are very well organised and you never feel alone. The best thing about this race was the climbs, and I know that may sound ridiculous but reaching the top of the Welsh mountains was an achievement in itself and rewarded the hardwork over looking the beautiful landscape.
