Almana Trail

I've run this race twice. Starting in 2025, it will be held in May instead of September.
The entire climb is runnable, alternating between forest roads and mountain trails. The view of Lake Iseo from the summit is incredible.
The first part of the descent is very technical but only lasts 15 minutes. After that, the descent is very fast, except for a couple of short, steep sections that break the rhythm.
The organization is well done, the aid stations are plentiful and well-spaced, and the showers are hot.
