Douro Montemuro Ultra Trilhos – DMUT

Excellent trail race, very well organized, with a varied course through mountains, rivers, and historic villages

With already some years of TrailRun experience, in Portugal and other countries, I truly appreciated my first experience with DMUT. Amazing organization; extraordinary landscapes... Would love to see this one evolving for a UTMB race in the future! It have what it takes!

Parcours génial qui fait passer dans des endroits superbes. Une organisation parfaite, des ravitos avec tout ce que l'on peut attendre à ces emplacements! A faire absolument!

Muito bem organizado, percurso muito bem sinalizado. Paisagens lindíssimas. O Staff sempre com um sorriso, sempre prontos ajudar. Foi um trail duro, mas eu adorei. É para repetir 🥰

O DMUT não é uma prova, é uma experiência que deve ser vivida! É tão maravilhoso, que nem parece difícil.

Fantastic race! The course offered a great variety, from technical, scenic river paths to runnable and fast descents, passing through several traditional villages. Flawless organization with clean, well-marked trails, support at all technical sections, and well-stocked, strategically placed aid stations.

One of the best trail running events in Portugal! The DMUT offers a perfect combination of challenging trails, breathtaking landscapes, and top-notch organization. From start to finish, everything is carefully planned — aid stations, route markings, and safety measures are excellent.

The beauty of the Douro and Montemuro mountains makes every kilometer worth it. The views are simply unforgettable, and the local support along the way gives the event a truly special atmosphere.

Already looking forward to coming back next year! Highly recommend it to any trail runner, whether you're looking for a tough race or just want to enjoy the beauty of Portugal’s trails.
