It’s one of the most scenic and brutal courses I’ve run. The views of the snow mountain were unreal, but the altitude and weather caught me off guard, and I had to drop at CP4. The aid stations were well-stocked, and the volunteers were incredibly supportive even as I pulled out.
My one suggestion for anyone interested in this race: pace slower than you normally would, the high-altitude challenge is real.
Still an unforgettable experience, and I’ll be back to finish it next year.
