Zalau Ultra Trail (ZUT)

This was my first time running in this race, but I absolutely loved it, it was difficult to run it but not impossible. I can’t wait to go again next year

A very pleasant route that flowed smoothly and was almost entirely through the woods. The paths weren’t too technical. Excellent organization, with a medal and massages available upon arrival.

Really nice trail !
High elevation on some areas but an overall accessible trail with only forest road and no technical difficulties.
The organisation has been really great with all the necessary supply !

A very runnable trail, taking you through the forest for about 95% of the course. There aren’t many viewpoints along the way, but the smooth, flowing terrain makes it a pleasure to run.

The aid stations are frequent (9 for 44km) and the organization is simply outstanding. After crossing the finish line, runners can enjoy ice baths and massages to help with recovery. Every finisher receives a medal and a T-shirt, and awards are presented for each age category. Thank you !
