Great experience at HUT50M! Trail was runnable but difficult. There were technical descents and very steep ascents. Race staff was the best, aid stations were packed, and finishing it was the cherry on top of the race.

PMTF is advertised as hard. Intrepid Spirit delivered what it was promised. This time, the cut-off times were shorter compared last year, as well as higher elevation gain. The environment, too, provided challenges. this time, it did not rain. The sun was up for the whole duration of the race, and it was sweltering. In Cabalatang, I wish it provided water station at the waiting shed, and it should informed the runners that they should at least bring 2L of water, because there were no water sources at the top.
Nonetheless, I enjoyed the experience. Enjoyment in suffering, I guess.

Great trail markings, you can navigate even without gpx files. Great food and drinks, overflowing. And supportive marshalls and volunteers in the AS. Kudos and great job to everyone

What an amazing race. Trails in the Philippines are amazing but so hard to run long distance. This course had some very steep climbs and technical ascents and descents, but often surrounded by beautiful landscape. The course was the best marked course I have ever experienced and never got lost or needed to look at my phone for the map. The aid stations and volunteers were amazing and was just an overall great experience. But extremely tough!!
