Maverick Exmoor (long route)

The event was definitely challenging and contained amazing scenery, especially along the south west coastal path. There were 4 different race distances heading off at different intervals, and Maverick did a great job of the organisation and communication of this.

There were multiple hydration stations at checkpoints along the route, all of which were fully stocked with a wide variety of goodies to keep runners going. The volunteers were noticeably enthusiastic and friendly, and this always makes a big difference.

The ‘festival village’ area at the start/finish had everything you’d expect, as well as a couple of on-site shops selling refreshments.
