Tough ascending and descending with scenic view. Friendly support and well marked routes. Hope to have more mountain trails. Food wise limited foods selection especially for vegan/vegetarian. Aid stations many housefly on the foods.

The course was difficult as expected, a true test of grit, resilience, and perseverance. But that is trail running – PMTF made me appreciate the sport more. Will definitely go back. The marshals were trained and knowledgeable of runners’ needs. They were dedicated to their duties. The aid stations were packed with filling food that can replenish runners of any distance. Truly appreciate that. The course was well marked and and well thought off. The maps were provided ahead of time. Overall, it was professionally organized.

Hardcore 100 miles – real hardcore. Iconic. The final exam of every trail runner in the Philippines. Quality. Living up to international standards. A dream. A goal. It never lets you down.

Great experience at HUT50M! Trail was runnable but difficult. There were technical descents and very steep ascents. Race staff was the best, aid stations were packed, and finishing it was the cherry on top of the race.

PMTF is advertised as hard. Intrepid Spirit delivered what it was promised. This time, the cut-off times were shorter compared last year, as well as higher elevation gain. The environment, too, provided challenges. this time, it did not rain. The sun was up for the whole duration of the race, and it was sweltering. In Cabalatang, I wish it provided water station at the waiting shed, and it should informed the runners that they should at least bring 2L of water, because there were no water sources at the top.

Nonetheless, I enjoyed the experience. Enjoyment in suffering, I guess.
